OLAY DARK CIRCLE CORRECTING SWIRL - REGENERIST LUMINOUS

Why do we have Dark Circles?

The skin around the eyes is thinner, which is why your blood vessels are more readily visible through it. For this reason, irregular distribution of the melanin that gives the skin its colour can cause dark circles to appear beneath the eyes. This is frequently a problem for people of Asian or African descent.
Dark circles under the eyes can appear in childhood, and are often an inherited trait. Excessive smoking or drinking can contribute to under-eye circles.
Sleep deprivation and stress are the most common causes.

Why and how to use Eye Cream?

The skin around the eye area is extremely delicate and should be respected as such. The eye area is often one of the first to show the first signs of ageing.
We use eye cream because is formulated for sensitive and thinner skin around the eyes.

I prefer to apply an eye cream around the orbital bone working inwards and outwards by gently tapping with my ring finger. And this is the best way to apply an eye cream as far as my knowledge goes. Make sure you don’t pull or tug the skin around the eye area as it may result in sagging and loosening the skin.

One of my favourite brand for eye creams has been Olay. It has a couple of very good eye creams. One of the new ones that I have been using and really liking is the OLAY REGENERIST LUMINOUS - Dark circle correcting swirl. Firstly the bottle is stunning, as it is quite dainty and very satisfying to hold. The beauty of it is that it has a swirl inside and is a clear see through packaging. The quality of the packaging is very smooth and beautiful for a product like an eye cream which usually comes in a jar. The best thing about it is that it comes in a pump which makes it very hygienic to use unlike other eye creams where you have to put your finger in a pot.

The product itself it very smooth and a very good texture. It has tiny luminous particles which when applied gives a nice sheen to the eyes and gives it a youthful glow. It is also very soothing and hydrating as you work it in a dabbing motion around the orbital bone, gently moving inward and outward with your ring finger. I have been using it for quite sometime now  about more than 6 months. Especially with skincare it takes some time to decide if it is a good product or not because just as makeup shows result instantly; skincare takes a longer time or over a period of time of regular use to show results.
I have certainly felt the difference of reduction in the dark circles as well as brightening of the eyes. Well for me dark circles are hereditary hence its never gonna be possible to get rid of it completely but it keeps it at bay.

Hey my lovely angels, Hope this for informative enough but please let me know in the comments below if you have better recommendations or you prefer to use eye creams or serums in a different way.
